What it is

MAP (monoammonium phosphate, NH₄H₂PO₄) is a nitrogen-phosphorus fertilizer made by reacting phosphoric acid with ammonia. It is water-soluble and has a high phosphorus content. In soil it gives an acidic reaction around the granule.
